At Chatswood Dental Centre we believe that early dental care builds the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles for your children. Oral health education and prevention are a key part of our practice.
Bringing your child to the dentist at an early age has many benefits. It allows your child to feel more familiar and comfortable in the dental environment and to monitor their dental developmental.
Our team are experienced in managing children to give them a positive dental experience. Our Oral Health Therapist can detect early tooth decay, provide parents with information on dental health and begin a lifelong preventive dental care program to minimise the need for future treatment.
The Australian Dental Association recommends that your child’s first dental visit take place at the eruption of their first baby teeth (usually 6 months of age) or at the latest 12 months of age.
